Registration Policy

For 2021 Season: Marblehead Girls Youth Lacrosse registration opened November 2020 but will not close in Janaury like it has in the past. Instead age groups will remain open until they fill to capacity upon which players who try to register will be added to a waitlist. Registration fees will not be due until 3/1/2021 and are non-refundable after registration. Marblehead Girls Youth Lacrosse will issue each new player a uniform top or jersey which they will be responsible for keeping for the following season(s). If a player outgrows her jersey and larger size is needed, we will provide you with one in exchange for the one that was outgrown. We expect that all jereseys are returned to the program once players "retire" from Marblehead Girls Youth Lacrosse. Lost jerseys can be replaced for a $25 fee. Marblehead Girls Youth Lacrosse reserves the right to limit enrollment in each age group to maintain our high quality program. We encourage you to register for the wait list. We may elect to release wait-listed children to the program.  Registrations after the closing date, particularly for our travel program, are rare and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Marblehad Girls Youth Lacrosse serves the Town of Marblehead only; we cannot register any families who are not residents of Marblehead. Our programs are grade-based program. Your child is only eligible to play for the grade in which she is enrolled.

Once registration is closed, we create evenly matched teams in each age group based on grade and any data we have on skills from their play the previous year. We regret that we are unable to honor any friend requests. Once teams are established and placed into the system, there will be no changes.

Registration in Founders Girls Youth Lacrosse league is new this year and required for participation in Marblehead Girls Youth Lacrosse.
